Sermons/Stories: Study of Galatians
From our Pastors
Galatians is God’s polemic against legalism of every kind and any description. The Mosaic Law is neither discredited, despised nor disregarded. Its majesty, perfection, demands, fullness, and purpose are maintained. Yet these very qualities make it utterly impossible for man to come this route to God. Another way is opened for man to be justified before God, a way that entirely bypasses the Mosaic Law. The new route is by faith. Justification by faith is the theme, with the emphasis on faith. - J. Vernon McGee

Sermons/Stories: Study of Romans
From our Pastors
Pastor Art Lyons' teaching on Romans.

Paul always tried to target the metropolitan hub of a city to preach the gospel – After all don’t all roads lead to Rome? Paul targeted Caesar to hear the gospel. God always has his people reaching out to world evangelize leaders.

Sermons/Stories: Study of Jude
From our Pastors
Pastor Art Lyons' teaching on Jude.

It is believed by many scholars that this Jude who wrote this letter is the Lords’ half brother. One reason is that this Jude states that he has a brother named James that he takes time to mention. This James, is most likely the half brother of Jesus.
(Matthew 13:55) and one of the Jerusalem church elders.

Sermons/Stories: Study of Philippians
From our Pastors
Pastor Art Lyons' teaching on Philippians.

Philippians is also known as one of the Prison Epistles, the other ones are: Ephesians, Colossians, and Philemon

Paul wrote this epistle and the other prison epistles when he was incarcerated in Rome waiting to appeal his offense to Caesar Nero.Interestingly, some have called this the epistle of Joy because Paul uses the word joy multiple time in this letter. He uses the name Jesus Christ over 40 times in this letter.
