Hello everyone,
Over the course of our lives, the three years that Lilli and Jason lived with us is perhaps, the most adventurous, dynamic and full.. It was a life changing experience for us all. When they both moved to Indiana, I composed a top ten list of our experiences together and resolved to mail them the list in a countdown format. I successfully wrote out and mailed to them, #10 through #7. I never finished. Lilli asked me to complete the project. I have made the commitment to do that and have decided to post this list on the Church Web Site.
They will be fed to the site at a rate of about1 or 2 a week until the list is complete. God Bless and happy readings
Hi Jason & Lilli,
Well, I have finally started my top ten list of my favorite memories of the three years that we shared our house with you both. I am starting with #10 and will have the countdown finished by our visit. Mom and I were surprised at how difficult it was to trim the list to only 10. In paring the list to 10, we had to cut some really good times. Sooo... drum roll please...
#10
Lilli & I racing in the Jack & Jill Race!!!
My fondest memories of you Lilli are of the times that we raced together. We started with the Lido 14 finishing in last place almost every race. We retired several years later with Mac A Tack outright winning many races while collecting a large assortment of 2nd place trophies of which I am mighty satisfied! Within this realm of our racing partnership, I could easily compile a top 10 list of racing memories but this top ten list is exclusive to the three years that we shared our house with you two.
It was so much fun to be racing with you again! We got like a 3rd place out of 10 boats. We got to do a little bit of yelling...not at each other but at Joe Dumbald and Jerry. We started our Mac Gregor racing career with Jerry messing us up and we finished to this point with Jerry.....messing us up a little bit. But that is what racing is all about most of the time.
I will close with my thought of the day!
We had raced for many years and had many last place finishes before we finally won a race. After going through all of the hard knocks of climbing out of the cellar, we finished strong being in the same league with Seadler, Patriot, and Tranquility Base.
